📅 Party Logistics
All parties are 1 hour in length.
Parties typically include 3–4 stations, such as:
Crafts
Games
Stories
⏰ Arrival & Check-In
Arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to the scheduled party time.
Volunteers will be held in the foyer until approximately 5 minutes before the party begins.
Upon arrival, please sign in at the table set up in the school entryway.
🎉 Inclusivity
Before planning a “holiday” activity, check with the teacher to confirm if all students celebrate that holiday.
If any student does not celebrate, then all activities must be seasonal instead (e.g., fall, winter).
📸 Photos & Social Media
Before taking or posting photos, ask the teacher if all parents have approved photos of their child.
If photos are not allowed, you may still post a description of the activities the students enjoyed.
🆔 Badges
Please wear your PTA badge to the party. Badges are distributed in the early fall after we have the majority of all sign-ups.
If you don’t have this year’s badge yet, you may wear last year’s or use a guest sticker.
Field Day Volunteer Information:
A Sign-Up Genius will be sent out in the spring to recruit volunteers for Field Day. Volunteers will have the option to help with games or select the "Coordinator" role.
Coordinators assist with setup and clean-up and work directly with the Committee Chair to complete various tasks. Please note that heavy lifting may be required (e.g., water cooler placement).
We do our best to accommodate as many volunteers as possible.
If you or your spouse/significant other is only interested in volunteering for Field Day, please ensure that PTA membership and all required clearances are submitted as early as possible in the fall. Unfortunately, if this is not completed in a timely manner, we may not be able to accommodate your participation.
There will be a Field Day planning meeting on May 11. While a virtual option will be available, in-person attendance is preferred, as this meeting will follow the last PTA meeting of the year. Please note that the exact start time is dependent on when the PTA meeting concludes.
